Tumblr finds~

Hey guys, starting to get used to using this, still think my blogs kinda ugly (if you're good with all these themes and stuff, comment and tell me how to improve!! >w< )

So in my last post I mentioned how the pastel goth tag on tumblr often has cute things from independant shops. Well, while browsing through the tag the other day, I noticed how much crap is on there. To make it easier for everyone, I have made a page on my blog where I have put all the cute things I've come across, the links are in their descriptions. Go have a nose! There's plenty of stuff there to scroll through for both pastel and nu goth, including clothes, accessories, circle lenses, wigs and outfit ideas, and the list id being constantly updated.

Go check it out!

Internet Haul~

Hey guys, since all my clothes arrived I figured it's probably time I actually started using this thing >.<

I still have next to no idea what I'm doing and my blog still looks kinda ugly but never mind, I shall try my best!

So, I bought a total of 10 things on Ebay/Storenvy,  mainly casual Pastel/Nu goth/Harajuku style for £100. That seems like a lot, but individual items here are SO CHEAP I almost died when I found them. Super great for people low on cash.
(You can check out/follow my storenvy list for some awesome clothes here , for some reason it's displaying my followers and envies as 0, but I'm sure the envies list at least is still displaying,)
Many of the things were bought from  TaoBao, a popular site which is basically a chinese ebay,  Many people buy through agents, who make stores on ebay and storenvy and order the item through TaoBao to you. Pastelbat is one well known pastel goth idol who often used TaoBao, mainly for wigs (see my Storenvy list) okay, on with my reviews ^-^

#1 - Double platform floral creepers*****

I freaking love these! I bought them on ebay, here, for £15 with £10 P&P. (£25)
They're super cute, also available with pink flowers and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!

Side Note: IMPORTANT
before I go on, I should actually put up a little warning to all you internet shoppers...
DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!
I literally cannot stress this enough, because it can mean the difference between getting a  good bargain or being royally ripped off. I'll explain what I mean with an example, which happened to me when buying these shoes.

I bought them from Ebay, the link above, for a total of £25 with shipping.
When I find an item of clothing I like, I copy the image URL by right clicking, go to google images and click the little camera in the search bar. I then paste the URL into the box that comes up and it gives me multiple results for the image, especially if it's being sold on ebay.
That's where I found these shoes being sold on etsy for £60 before even adding the p&p and listing them as HANDMADE
here is the place where I found them for such a ridiculous price

As you can imagine I was very confused, so I checked out some other sources, such as Aliexpress - sold for $13 (around what I paid), combines a few others I cannot find now, and none of them where anywhere near £60.
So, I contacted the owner of the Etsy store who claimed she 'worked with the manufacturer' and mine were 'probably fake'.
However, for something to be fake the brand usually has to be well known in the first place and the item quality is usually shoddy. I cannot find a brand for these shoes at all, not even with the arletta typed on the box of both the ebay and etsy stores. As well as that, my creepers are exactly as they are on the picture, and have served me well so far.
I suppose she could be telling the truth, but her ridiculous waiting times and lack of any credible information or figures suggest otherwise. Anyhow, that's one story down!

TODAYS LESSON: BEWARE OF SCAMMERS!

#2 - Black Studded double platform creepers
*****

Bought here for £15!
Again, great quality and super affordable! They're actually £10 cheaper than the first single-platformed non-studded pair I had from newlook and they're so much nicer. I find them comfortable and easy to walk in, spent the day trekking around London in the for around 7 hours and my feet were feeling surprisingly okay at the end.

#3 Sheer Black and White Chiffon Shirt
*****

There probably wont be many photos of me throughout this post, but here's one >.<
As you can see, it's available in three different colours.
COST ONLY £4 WITH £2 POSTAGE!!!
buy here
As you can probably tell by the price, it isn't the highest quality fabric around, but I'm pretty happy with it. I would recommend ironing at a low heat though, don't want to burn it.
Another thing to be careful of is sizing when clothes are coming from Asia. Luckily for them, many Asians are a lot smaller than us fast-food munching westerners. I'm usually a UK size 10-12, so that's the size option I went for. It fits, however it is preeetttyyy snug over the chest area. Overall I like it, goes really well with denim shorts, black tights and my studded creepers.

#4 Black Lace Batwing Loose Shirt
*****

(Ahahaha this photo of me shows like nothing of use oops)

Bought for £7 with P&P included!
Okay, I'm seriously in love with this one, it's super comfortable and soft and it's pretty flattering on the figure, you don't have to be a super hot skinny Korean like the photo above to wear it. The link shows the lace on the back, it's really really pretty, I love lacey things.

#5 Cute Peter pan collar dress
*****

Around £6.20 with P&P!
(this is one of the items also sold on storenvy for a higher price, unfortunately I cannot find the link, sorry!!)
Yet again, I'm super pleased with it. I bought the bow print and it's just so cute. I never really wear dresses but I saw this, saw the price and thought what the fuck lets give it a shot.
Like the chiffon shirt, be careful with the sizing. This one only comes in one size, and the measurement (tiles?) is something I have never heard of before.  I measured myself to compare to their measurements anyway, and decided to go for it. It fits but it's tight around the chest, if you cannot live without a padded bra you might as well miss this one out, I had to buy a paper thin bra to fit into this 100% comfortably (If you have boobs under a D then you'll probably be okay). For reference, I'm a UK 10 in shirts/dresses and a UK 12 in bottoms/skirts, if that's any help.

#6 Galaxy print sheer shirt
****

About £12, sold here!
(Also available on Storenvy here, but I think the postage makes it more expensive)
Another great buy, happy with it. Like the last chiffon shirt, it's quite delicate so I'd be careful with ironing and such. Again. watch out for the size!

#7 Polka dot chiffon Skirt-look Shorts
****

Bought here for around £5
Only available in UK size 8-10, but I managed to squish into them with little discomfort.
Super cute, I (obviously) bought the black version.
( ^◡^)

#8 Handmade Black Studded Leather O-ring Choker
*****

(I know my photo of this is super bad T_T)
Bought here for about £10.30
Absolutely adore it, it's quite daring, fits in well with the current harness trend in harajuku and pastel goth styles, maybe some day soon I'll actually have the balls to wear it in public rather than just for photos >w< Lovely quality, the spikes are kinda sharp but idk it's stunning!
(Also the seller is lovely!)
o(^▽^)o

#9 Star Wars muscle Tee
***

(aw dear I look kinda orange in this one heeellppp)
Award sized photos being awkward =___=
But yeah, bought this one here for just under £9!
I do like this shirt a lot, but I'm pretty sure it is just an official Star Wars tee with the arms cut off. For people who aren't sure of the term 'muscle tee', it's basically like a vest top where the arm holes drop to kinda just above the waist (sorry for the shitty explaination >.<) I usually wear a strappy vest top underneath to cover the sides or bra is visable.

#10 Star Print Sheer Distressed Jumper
**

This was probably the only purchase I was disappointed with.
Bought here for around £9, but I don't believe the item and the image are the same. The stars are painted on and the material is pretty uncomfortable and kinda stratchy. I manage with a black vest top underneath, since it's kind of sheer. It looks okay, but meh, not really what I was hoping for.

That's all for now! Hope I've helped or given you some ideas for your own styles. Many people go looking for pastel/nu goth stores, but the reality is that there are very few with decent clothing since it's a relatively new style. Best places to look are Ebay, Storenvy and Etsy. It's also good to check the pastel goth tags on tumblr, because small shops often advertise there.

Thank you for reading!
Love,
